Amygdala- Part of the brain that filters feeling and emotions.
Atropine- The medicine Simon injects into the arresting patient in St. Lucy’s Hospital to bring his heart beat to a normal rhythm.
Blastomeres- Lab grown replacement organs. They run hotter than normal organs while in incubation, usually inside of a person. They’re not yet approved for legal use in the medical field but some doctors have been smuggling them into the core for medical procedures.
Bowden's Malady- A degenerative condition that afflicts the bones and muscles.

G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate- A chemical put into the air processors on Miranda to weed out aggression. Unfortunately it also made them stop doing everything else. The population died off. In one-tenth of one percent of the population it increased their aggressor responses making Reavers.
Good Night Kiss- Narcotic compound spread over a seal on the lips of the user. The sedative renders the victim unconscious.
Hydrozapam- Worth 200 hundred credits on the black market an example of the cost of medicine
Olanzapine, Clozapine, Quetiapine, and Aripiprazole ~ all medicines Simon has tried on River with varying results and varying side effects one of these has been known to make her throw up, others sleep and various other things.
Immunization packets ~ used before going planet side to keep people from getting sick on planets that are less than healthy.
Ivoprvalyn ~ this is always on the ship it's actually a once a week thing from most of the crew River rarely gets close enough to the med bay for Simon to give her this though
